~Gender Affirming Healthcare~


Planned Parenthood

PP offers gender affirming health care services. They are committed to decreasing barriers to health care for transgender, gender nonconforming, and non-binary patients.

Services include:

  • Gender affirming hormone therapy for individuals aged 17 and older (under 18 requires parent/guardian consent)

  • Self-injection training

  • Resources and referrals for primary care, mental health, surgery, dental care, legal services, electrolysis, support groups, and more

  • Sensitive sexual and reproductive health care

PP follows the Informed Consent model so patients do not need a mental health referral to

receive services. Their gender affirming care services are available in all our health centers through in-person and Telehealth visits.
